Dance Experience

Jules began with Disco Dancing in 1977, the year of ‘Saturday Night Fever’, and hasn’t stopped dancing since - that’s over 30 years folks! Over that time he has tried many styles of dances and is experienced in the following:

• LA Style Salsa (Partner)
• Retro Disco Dancing (Solo)
• Retro Disco Line Dancing (Group)
• Northern Soul (solo)
• Breakdancing/Body Popping (Solo)
• Disco Hustle (Partner)
• Leroc Modern Jive (Partner)

Dance Qualifications

Jules is a UKA accredited dance instructor.

Competitions and Public Appearances

• UK Jive Championships 1st Place 2005 - Part of Edinburgh’s Dance formation Team
• UK Jive Championship 2nd Place 2004 - Part of Edinburgh’s Dance formation Team
• Appeared on C4’s Malibu World Disco Championship competition 1983
• South of Scotland Disco Champion- 1982
• Jules has appeared on MTV

Dance Experience

Lianne is a fitness professional with a passion for dance and over 10 years teaching experience in a range of freestyle & choreographed exercise disciplines. She began with Modern Jive in 2005 and since then has gained experience in the following:

• LA Style Salsa (Partner & Ladies Styling)
• Modern Jive (Partner)
• Disco Hustle (Partner)
• Retro Disco Line Dancing (Group)
• Burlesque (Solo)

Dance Qualifications

Lianne is a UKA accredited dance instructor.

Competitions and Public Appearances

As a couple Jules and Lianne have performed in several Modern Jive and Salsa displays, charity events and, most recently in the Night Afore Celebrations in Edinburgh.

In 2006 Lianne and Jules competed in the Spotlight section of the UK Dance Championships in 2006.
